Click on ‘create a channel‘ underneath the search bar and label your channel. The channel name should give a hint of the kind of links we can expect to find within it i.e "My Breaking News" and give a brief channel description for your future subscribers!. To subscribe to a channel you like, search for the channel and you will locate the subscribe button within the channel.
You will need to create a channel first and then you can embed related links within it. Click on any of your channels and you‘ll find the channel owner options on the right side of the page.
Another option is to click on the ‘add to my channel‘ link located in the channel bar above any of the links you view
The system automatically retrieves information of the link from the web and stores what it finds. Update the title and description of the link to your taste and click 'save' to personalize the link instead. We recommend personalizing the links :-)
You may only edit or delete a link contained in one of your channels. You have two options depending on if you uploaded the link or if you imported it from another user.
Uploaded the link: Click on the channel where the link is located, the option to edit or delete is located underneath your links.
Imported the link: Click on the channel where the link is located, click on the link to display it, then click on comments to display edit and delete options.
Note: This function is not compatible with the Internet Explorer browser.The 'Add to Fogo' bookmark allows you to add links (while you browse the web) with a single click. To install the bookmark in your browser, click on the ‘what is fogo?” link below the search bar. Next click on ‘Get the Fogo Bookmark”. Drag the ‘add to Fogo’ link into your browser’s toolbar menu. You’re done!
Click on 'My Account' located at the top right of the page. Click on Profile Image and upload your photo image. You'll notice you have the option of loading your current Facebook profile image instead, you'll need to log in using the Facebook login option
Other than obviously inviting your friends via your Facebook/Twitter profiles, you can invite your friends via email. Click on 'My Account' located at the top right of the page, click on 'Invite Friends', and provide the email address(es) of the friends you'd like to invite.
You’re able to share any of the links you find on the fogo channel with your networks on Facebook and Twitter. Simply look out for the icons in the channel bar (top right) while viewing any of the links! Click on it, log in and share!
You'll find this option under 'My Accounts' located at the top right of the page. You'll need to log in via the Facebook login option at log in. Click on 'My Facebook Friends' and you'll discover the Fogo Channel profiles of your Facebook friends. Don't see any of your Facebook friends on here? please invite some :-)
You will need to provide a valid e-mail address to be a member. You may need to look in your spam folder and add the following address to your e-mail contacts so that you receive all notifications from the fogo channel. donotreply@thefogochannel.com
If you do not see the e-mail in your inbox, check your spam folder for it. If you locate it here, make sure you add donotreply@thefogochannel.com to your e-mail contacts. Otherwise notify us of this issue support@thefogochannel.com
